Always check the event source before heading out, as details can change last minute. I collect events and create this list by hand, so events aren’t automatically updated if there’s a change.

Design and carve your own Jack-O-Lantern at the library! Pumpkins are provided, so bring your creativity and come up with your own spooky design. For teens. - Puzzle Swap â

Drop in and find a new-to-you jigsaw puzzle! Puzzles of all shapes, sizes, and difficulty levels will be available for all ages. Bringing a puzzle to swap? Please make sure itâs in good condition, in its original box, with all pieces sealed in a bag inside. No need to tape the box. - Teen Movie Night â

Teens can hang out at the library on Friday evenings for movies, board games, and other fun activities. Be in the Teen Room by 6pm to attend, as there is no late entry. Parents will pick up teens from the parking lot behind the library at 8pm. - Fall Fest & Maze â

7:30pm, The Vault Theater, Hillsboro
Bag&Baggage presents The Woman in Black, Stephen Mallatrattâs chilling stage adaptation of Susan Hillâs celebrated ghost story. Set in a remote English village, the play follows a young lawyer uncovering the secrets of a recently deceased client and the vengeful presence that stands in his way. Just two actors portray all the characters in this atmospheric and relentless Halloween production. - Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Follow Alice down the rabbit hole as she journeys through Wonderland in this 60-minute stage adaptation of the classic Disney film and Lewis Carroll stories. Along the way, she meets beloved characters including the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar, Mad Hatter, and Queen of Hearts while discovering her own path home. Featuring favorites like âThe Unbirthday Songâ and âPainting the Roses Red,â plus new songs from the 2010 live-action film. - Black Belt Eagle Scout

Portland singer-songwriter Gina DeNoble brings a rich, soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting to the stage. After a 15-year break from live performance, she returned in 2023 and has since performed across the region, including at Northwest Folklife Festival, Breitenbush Hot Springs, and Washougal Songcraft Festival. Her debut album, Wandererâs Paradise, was inspired by travels through Washington, Canada, and Alaska.

Register ahead so they can match you with the right fixer, and if youâre handy yourself, you can volunteer and put those skills to good use. - Prescription Drug Take Back Event â

Safely dispose of unwanted medications at this collection event and help protect your family, community, and environment. Bring expired or unused prescription and over-the-counter medicines, medications that didnât work or are no longer needed, medicine from deceased family members, and unknown tablets or capsules. Leave medicines in their original containers if possible. Thermometers, needles, liquids, and medical waste are not accepted. - Howl O’Ween Canine Costume Contest â
