Hello, Washington County! 🎉

During the pandemic, we got a projector and had SO many plans of watching movies in the backyard…which never happened. What I learned is that I love it when someone else sets up the projector and gives me popcorn. As it turns out, I chose the right county for that. We have 5 outdoor movies happening around the county on Friday alone! Yes, 5 movies! Summer is coming to an end, so if you’ve been meaning to catch one of the movies in the park (or swimming pool), it’s time to make Friday the day that it happens.

Always check the event source before heading out, as details can change last minute. I collect events and create this list by hand, so events aren’t automatically updated if there’s a change.

Friday, August 14

• Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival: Music at the Hearth ✅

Complete a swim, bike or mobility device ride, and run on your own, with a team, or as a family in this inclusive event designed for beginners.   Throw on your favorite tropical outfit and join Island Nights Bunco for an evening of dice, prizes, and aloha-inspired fun. Whether you’re a seasoned player or trying Bunco for the first time, everyone is welcome. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and proceeds help support the Sherwood High School Class of 2027 Grad Night celebration.
