It’s National Emergency Preparedness month, so let’s just do a quick check to make sure we’re ready, people! Tigard has a great page of resources to get you started. There will also be an emergency preparedness fair happening at Tualatin Public Library, that you’ll see in Thursday’s newsletter.

Bring a chair and an instrument for this casual gathering of musicians playing traditional Irish and Celtic tunes, along with some American old-time and contra tunes. The session is geared toward playing by ear and from memory, with moderate tempos and no audience required. Meet on the lawn near Shelter 4 at the entrance to the Butterfly Garden, with plenty of room to explore the park’s trees, trails, and river before or after. If it’s rainy, the group will gather under the shelter. - Line Dance Lessons
